Asociația pentru Protejarea Companiilor Impotriva Abuzurilor Statului (APCIAS) a inregistrat un succes notabil în demersul său de a proteja drepturile furnizorilor de servicii medicale în fața Casei de Asigurări de Sănătate a Municipiului București (CASMB) și Casei Naționale de Asigurări de Sănătate (CNAS). Inițiativa APCIAS a survint în urma numeroaselor semnale apărute în spațiul public privind încălcarea drepturilor acestor furnizori.
Impotriva furnizorilor de servicii medicale au fost formulate cereri de arbitraj formulate de catre CASMB solicitandu-li-se plata unor sume importante de bani, pentru servicii solicitate de catre CASMB in favoarea asiguratilor sai, insa raportate peste valoarea de contract anterior semnării actelor adiționale de confirmare.
APCIAS, în calitate de apărător al drepturilor furnizorilor de servicii medicale, a identificat mai multe incalcari ale legii, dar si ale principiilor procesului echitabil în aceste solicitări si a decis să intervină în favoarea furnizorilor de servicii medicale prin formularea de cereri de interventie in procesele intentate acestora de CASMB.Astfel, Asociația si-a asumat si de aceasta data un rol crucial în apărarea drepturilor tuturor furnizorilor de servicii medicale în fața abuzurilor savarsite de instittiile statului.
Reusita acestui demers ne confirma rolul important al APCIAS în promovarea unui mediu economic just și echitabil în sectorul medical, Asociatia confirmand si pe aceasta cale rolul acesteia de aparator al principiilor fundamentale ale justiției
